ARYZTA AG (‘ARYZTA’) is hosting an investor day at Maidstone Bakeries, located near Toronto on Wednesday 01 December 2010, the day before its AGM which is being held at Park Hyatt Toronto. The Maidstone Bakeries facility was commissioned, designed and constructed in partnership with Tim Hortons, the leading quick service restaurant (QSR) in Canada, in 2002 to 2003. This investment helped transform the Tim Hortons business by enabling their restaurants to produce freshly baked goods across all parts of the day under their ‘always fresh’ bakery concept. Maidstone operates from a purpose built bakery (c.400,000 sq. ft.) in Brantford, Ontario. Maidstone has the capability to produce a broad range of products, both sweet and savoury, including sandwich carriers, handheld snacks, and breakfast products to meet the highest quality standards and consistency of product.
